Michelle has 12 years of experience within the Financial, Forex and Accounting sector. Her Career started as an Accounts Assistant at Blue Strata Trading (now known as “Investec Imports Solutions”) progressing to an Accountant. Having reached her growth potential within Blue Strata she decided to expand her horizons as a job opportunity arose as a Financial Business Analyst at Sasfin Bank within the Business Finance Division. It is in Sasfin where she gained her exceptional knowledge, utilizing data from diverse financial and information systems to build tools and forecasting models to examine company’s projected short and long term growth based on key indicators, sales projections, cash flow analysis, assets, liabilities, and credit risks. She remarkably improved organizational decision-making capabilities, resulting in increased profitability for the business. With the development of the ROA (Return on Asset) model, analysis of client’s financial statements for assessing creditworthiness, new and existing sales could be tracked in terms of profitability. She also carried out numerous financial and accounting duties in providing comprehensive financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to Senior Management.
